- The International Summit for The Study of Information
The IS4SI Summit 2025 objective is to present and discuss current achievement in the fields of the Study of Information. It is considered here not only as a pure theoretical discipline.
While matter and energy are the foundation of material world, information is the foundation of the mental world as well as of the interactions in alive beings and within their communities. It is the leading factor in evolution and genetics. It is the basis of intellectual activity. Studying intelligence, we should take broader approach discovering the role of information, generally speaking, in life. The time has come to work out more uniform and general, deeper understanding of information processes which support the noosphere.
In this, broader sense, we should again and again turn our attention to the philosophy, interrelations between material and mental, correlate the notion of information in communication, biology, humanitarian areas and the physics of micro world.
The IS4SI Summit 2025 is dedicated to this broad issue.
The IS4SI 2025 Summit is composed of International Scientific Events. Each event has its own Steering Committee, as well as a Program Committee approved by the Summit Steering Committee.
The 2025 International Summit of Study of Information is planned to take place in two formats:
– Online meetings for all presentations and discussions (June 02-15, 2025);
– Hybrid meetings (in-person and online, June 23 – 28, 2025,Varna, Bulgaria)
The official language of IS4SI Summit 2025 is English.

The Key Role of Information Interaction
In the contemporary digital age, the synergy between information and interaction plays a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of the world, influencing decision-making processes, and fostering innovation.
The term “inforaction,” an amalgamation of information and interaction, encapsulates the dynamic relationship between individuals and the vast sea of data that surrounds them.
The theme of the IS4SI’2025 Summit explores the fundamental importance of inforaction and its multifaceted impact on various aspects of our lives.
- Call for Contributions
All colleagues and friends interested in the study of information are welcome to submit to the Summit their manuscripts. The manuscripts will be peer reviewed by the Program Committees of the Summit and preferred manuscripts will be selected for oral presentation.
Only unpublished manuscripts will be accepted for the IS4SI 2025 Summit. The type of manuscripts can be any kind of scientific publication and depends on the decision of the Event Steering Committees. The formatting of the manuscripts depends on the selected publisher and must follow their publication rules.
The IS4SI Summit 2025 will take place from June 02, 2025, to June 28, 2025.
The Summit will be spited into two segments – online and in-person.
Conference room presentations are usually not delivered well with the technical background available. Because of this, it is assumed that all presentations will be online, and that in-person meetings mainly will help to develop cooperation within IS4SI.
The online segment of the Summit
The Summit will commence with an online segment on Monday, June 02, 2025. It will last till June 15, 2025.
Online participation in the Summit is complimentary.
The in-person segment of the Summit
The in-person segment of the Summit will occur from June 23 to 28, 2025, in Varna, Bulgaria.
The in-person segment is expected to last three working days, with two days off.
Participants are expected to arrive in Varna on June 22 and depart on June 29, 2025.

The table below details all possible combinations of several options, namely “Speaker/Non-Speaker; IS4SI Member/Non-Member; Early (Until March 31, 2025)/Late (After April 01, 2025)” registration types.
Members of the Summit Committees and IAIS members are considered IS4SI Members.
It also shows special discounted registration types, namely “Speaker for each additional presentation” and “Non-Speaker, i.e. co-author, who will participate in person, listener or accompanying person”.

The registration fee covers only renting the conference rooms, technical equipment, working dinner, and supporting staff.
Excursions and entertainment events are not included.
No registration fee waivers are available.
For the in-person segment of the Summit, the Tour Operator Company Unitours, Varna, Bulgaria, will be responsible for providing accommodation, transfers and excursions.
Financial operations will be carried out by Accounting House Danfis, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Bank accounts for payment of registration fees and hotel reservations will be provided soon.
Invoices will be provided.

The scope of information science and technology and their potential applications is extraordinarily broad.

The IS4SI Summit will be held in person at the Cherno More Hotel, Varna, Bulgaria. Alternative accommodation at lower prices is possible at the Orbita Hotel, 700m. from the Cherno More Hotel.

Due to ongoing large-scale renovations related to the modernization of the Cherno More Hotel (facade, common areas, lobby), temporary inconveniences are possible on the territory of the hotel complex.
